Who cares about split ends?

I'd like to tell everyone out there that no one even notices those split ends. The only reason you should even think about them is because they are part of the health and growth of your hair. Split ends are a representation of your treatment of your hair and can easily be cured with an adjustment of your current habits. First, when you shower, use warm not hot water. This way you do not originally boil your hair. Use a dollop of your regular conditioner and let it soak for a minute while you wash or shave or sing slightly off-key. Rinse your hair with cool water to seal in the moisture. When drying your hair with a towel, or when squeezing your hair dry, do not wring your hair out as this will cause further damage. Now, do not wash your hair everyday as this will strip it of natural oils needed to keep hair moist and protected. Also, do not use a blow dryer or heat on your hair every day because it will also dry out and burn your hair. Just like lake beds that crack, your hair will split. When using straighteners and curling irons and such, it is best to use a hotter setting and do the deed once than repeatedly abusing your hair with lacking results. Then, as you brush your hair, avoid brushing it wet as that can rip and tear your hair. A helpful hint: start with a wide comb, then a brush, and begin from the bottom, working your way up. You want to work through knots, not rip them out. Finally, do not get razor cuts with an actual razor. It is best to use scissors which give the same effect but better prevent splitting. These tips may seem like a lot, but they are easily incorporated. They will allow current ends to heal and prevent current split ends. So enjoy your hair and treat it like rapunzel would(you're just like her, but with shorter hair).
