Where can I find love? What is love? And the eternal and universal question: How do I find it?!
You can find love anywhere. It will find you when you least expect it, when you stop looking for it. Kind of ironic, right? Well, stop looking for it. Stop pining (is that how you spell it?) after love. Love doesn't like clingy people. Be happy now. I want to live someone who's happy, wouldn't you? Enjoy being single. Work on being you.
It sounds hard, doesn't it? Try it, a little at a time. I'm trying to be the kind of person I'd want to marry, and am trying to enjoy the single life. It's hard, seeing friends supposedly in love (they're in high school, they're silly, they can find love later too). But I know that when I find it, when you find it, out will be the most amazing thing. You'll be able to find love many times, and there's always a chance to be happy.
Now, I hope the boys do the same. We all deserve happiness, single or not. You can have love right now. Give it to everyone, show it. You have family, friends, and strangers who need some love. Most of all, love yourself. If you can't, how can you expect anyone else to? Some wait for someone to rescue you. Rescue yourself and then find someone to share in the joy. I wish you an amazing holiday season. :)

Yoga: I'm not flexible or a hippie
I recently discovered a love for yoga. It began with the Internet, and a website called doyouyoga.com. There I discovered Erin Motz and the 30 day yoga challenge. It is so great, and you don't have to be a yogi to do it. It's great for your body, mind, and soul. I've not been satisfied with my health, and the stress of life was breaking me down. It hasn't healed everything, but it has definitely helped. I would definitely suggest looking into it. Out really is for everyone. Check out the website for information on the benefits of yoga and meditation. It sounds very hippie but it really isn't.
Add to your life, find love, and remember to wear some great lipstick.

New phone: It was worth it
So I finally have in and got myself a new phone from Verizon. I love the Samsung S3. First, a couple of tips:
Ask about how good the phone is, how durable and not glitchy.
Find out if you qualify for 6gb instead of 2.
Get a double cover. Protect your phone's life!
Get an extra battery pack thing as a backup.
Now, why I love this phone:
It works great, it has a decent camera, it's great for music, its internet capabilities are wonderful and fast, the battery lasts pretty well, you can talk for text, type, or drag your finger, the apps are great, you get s built in light, etc.
Once I get a personal cover, it'll be perf.
Enjoy the little luxuries.

DIY: Spa day!
You can't always spend the big bucks to visit a spa, you never know which ones to choose, and you can't always take a day to go to one. However, you can make your own spa day, at home, and you don't have to do them all at once either. They're easy, quick, inexpensive, and all natural!
DIY: Facial!
So I'm going to give you a few easy facials to refresh your skin.
Steam Facial:
Take a bowl of hot water, which you can heat up in the microwave, and you can add some lemon for a fresh scent. Put your face above the bowl and cover your head with a towel. Set a timer for 10 minutes or less, and wait it out. This facial opens up your pores, allowing you to get a deeper clean when you wash afterwards. Rinse with cool water to close your pores up and prevent more gunk from getting inside. And be sure not to steam for more than 10 minutes, or you'll dry your face out with the heat. This facial is great because it can go before all other facials!
Lemon and honey scrub:
Take half a lemon and squeeze some honey on it. Spread it on your face and then wash it off. You'll have fresher skin in no time!
Oatmeal mask:
Take oatmeal, water, and baking soda until it is a sufficient paste. Rub it on and let it sit for a few minutes. This is a wonderful exfoliator, and the oatmeal acts as a scrub when your spread it on your face.
DIY: Teeth Whitening!
This is a simple teeth whitener, but it doesn't taste very well. Start by brushing your teeth for a clean surface. Then your mix hydrogen peroxide with baking soda (which you see in many teeth whitening toothpastes). Hydrogen peroxide can act much like bleach, but is much less harsh. Instead of bleaching your hair, you can lighten it with hydrogen peroxide. Bleach can damage your teeth, so this is a healthier alternative. Hydrogen peroxide also can act as a disinfectant for wounds, and is useful for so many things. You want to mix the two ingredients until they're a thick paste, then brush/rub it on your teeth. Avoid your toungue, or tasting it, because you'll not enjoy it! If you accidentally do, spitting it out and rinsing with water helps a bunch! Avoid food getting on the exposed surface of your enamel for a while so as to prevent staining. If you repeat this process once a week you'll get whiter teeth soon!
DIY: Mani/Grow Your Nails
Grow your nails:
Take a bowl of water, add salt, olive oil, and salt again. Soak your nails for 20 minutes to up to 3 hours. This is also a wonderful moisturizer. You'll notice nail growth the next day! I've been using it in my proress to grow my nails and it really has helped! You can also buy a nail strengthener/grower and use it on your nails, along with taking vitamins for healthy nail growth. You can massage your hands while you do this for extra relaxation!
Mani:
Push back your cuticles, with a pen cap, your nails, etc. File your nails to the desired shape, and only go one way, else you're weakening your nails. Rub olive oil/lotion into your nails to keep them moist and avoid breaking. Before you apply any polish, wipe your nails clean. Apply a base coat to protect your nails, and then paint them any way you want! For extra fun, look up nail art tutorials online! You'll smile whenever you look down at your nails, and I guaruntee a compliment or more.
DIY: Body Scrubs! (Also a great gift!)
These body scrubs are essential a mixture of white or brown sugar, oil, and scents. You can use brown sugar, oil, cocoa powder, or cinnamon, or vanilla. You can use sugar, olive oil, and lemon juice. It's all about what relaxes you, and the most fun part is that they're edible too!
Extra relaxation tips:
Take a bath, dance around to fun music, read a book, do yoga, look up Pusheen the cat or Sheldon the turtle (or other cute pics). Do what makes you happy! Inspire yourself! Find ways to solve/stop worrying about your stressors.
I hope you've enjoyed this post, I know I have! I love these DIYs, and they really do work! You can do them for yourself or as a gift to someone you care about, or even as a party with friends! Have fun, and treat yourself! You can comment or email your questions, ideas, or comments at taytaytay702@gmail.com. TTYL!

Shark Week! (Including Nail Art!!!)
It's shark week on discovery channel! That means it's sharks sharks shark 24/7! Above I have my shark week nails, based upon MissJenFABULOUS' tutorial. I used a silver crackle for the fin and shark body, a red for his mouth, a black for his eyes, and a white for his teeth (applied with a toothpick). The base color of my nails is a navy blue, used in my owl nail art diy. I then covered it in a sparly blue/purple, because the ocean sparkles. I included a couple of cute shark week comics, a picture of my squid hat that I found on the internet (My friends and I won squid hats at Circus Circus in Reno, NV at the SkillsUSA competition), and a picture of shark cat, who in a viral video was riding around on a robo vaccuum. Shark week is fun, informative, and an excuse to enjoy the hype! And why shouldn't we enjoy the hype? Hype is so much fun! Being my senior year, the whole point of my year is really hype. I think that this week is a time to learn more about an amazing, ancient, and dangerous creature while having fun celebrating it. I suggest watching some of the shows, especially before you judge it. You may find you enjoy it, and it has something for everyone. It has Mythbusters, it has all sorts of documentaries, it has rare and possibly real creatures (Megaladon), and it has comedy. Bob the Shark has thousands of twitter followers already! So enjoy it or ingore it, or don't.
If you have any questions or comments, please comment or email me at taytaytay702@gmail.com. Do tell me if there's anything you'd like to see, advice you'd like to hear, etc. If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all. I only have a few posts currently but I will find time to post more, including some DIYs when I get the chance, and perhaps some portfolio images and words in other languages, in a fun and cute way, because I love language. TTYL, and enjoy the internet and the knowledge that you are not cave people!

Understanding Guys and Getting Them to Take a Hint
Guys and girls are always trying to figure out what the other is trying to say, what the hidden meaning is, and the key to decoding their language. We, as girls, have a lot of trouble trying to decode guy code. The problem? We overthink and complicate things, especially if our hearts get involved. Guy seem hard, but they aren't that complicated.
Generally, I guy is not an onion, he doesn't have layers to his words. Guys don't have really crazy hidden meanings. If they say you look nice, they aren't secretly saying you're hot and they want to go out with you. They think you look nice, whether or not that other stuff is true. Don't complicate things! That makes it harder for the guys, and crazier for us. Be straight up and honest with them, and they'll do the same.
Girls, we want the hidden meaning. When you're trying to decode their language, a couple of things come to mind. One is basic. No hidden meaning, no signs, nothing. The second thing is: maybe it means more. Tell that voice to shut it, because it has no sense of reality. You'll be able to tell what's going on, just don't overthink it.
The following are some guy situations from Myjellybean.com, with translations that I've come up with, along with some reactions and explanations. Enjoy!:
You're going gaga about your celebrity crush. Your best guy friend calls him a loser.
Translation:
He probably just thinks he's a loser and is sick of hearing about him. Change the subject to something more fun, and leave the gushing to your girlfriends.
You're at a party in a new outfit. Your crush checks you out, smiles, and says you look cute.
Translation:
He thinks you look nice in what you're wearing. Smile, accept the compliment, and maybe give hime one back. Bonus flirt: Touch him, like on the elbow or shoulder.
When your crush drops you off after your first date, he says he'll call you later.
Translation:
He will not call tonight but will probably call in the next few days. Breathe, let him make the first move, and say you had a great time and would love to do it again sometime.
You keep hearing rumors that your bf kissed another girl. Which reply means he's innocent when you confront him?
What a LIE. Tell me who said that cause I'm gonna rearrange their face.
Translation:
He's being too defensive. Not a good sign.
Aw come on. I know I never said it before but I think I love you.
Translation:
Distraction! He knows you'll be excited that he said the "L" word.
It's just a rumor. I would never do that and it hurts me that you think I would.
Translation:
Most innocent response. If he's acting straight up, he probably is.
The school dance is a week away. You crush hasn't asked you yet, but he keeps saying he's excited about going.
Translation:
He wants YOU to ask HIM. Sometimes, guys avoid asking us because they don't want to be rejected. Next time he says he's excited, ask him if he'd like to go with you, real casual. And remember, if you make it easy for a guy to tell that he won't get rejected, he's more likely to take a chance.
You ask your friend if he wants to hang out but he says he's staying home to watch the game.
Translation:
He's watching the game, probably having a guys' night. Take the chance to have a girls' night. He knows you probably won't be into the game.
How can you tell when a guy likes you?
Clue:
He won't tell you who he likes, and he probably makes it obvious that he does. All guys say that if a guy likes you, he'll make it known.
It's your second date with a guy you like. You want your BFF and her guy to join but your guy isn't happy with that idea.
Translation:
He doesn't want to make a bad impression. She's your BFF for goodness sakes! Plus, if they're more of a couple than you are, it could be awkward. Have them meet or hang in a less pressure zone. Ease into that relationship, because he knows she's important to you.
Now, you may be wondering how to get a guy to understand you, because it can be hard to get anything through those thick skulls! Guys don't really get hints, which is why they don't always give them. I found this out from the book, "An LDS Girl's Guide to Getting A Date". This isn't just for LDS girls, it is for everyone! I suggest buying it, it is a valuable investment.
The best and main concept of the book is the successful A. C. T. formula. Apply it a few times, and success is sure to be seen. ACT stands for Animation, Closeness, and Touch. Let me explain further.
Animation means life, living. Look alive! Talk confidently, don't mumble under your breath. Smile, laugh! Smiling is your best accessory/makeup, and makes you look happy and approachable. Wear some makeup, show off your best features! Wear some color and pattern, maybe some shine. Walk like you're not in the slowest lane. Have fun, be happy. These sound like good things, don't they? That's what guys think too! Honestly, would you want to date a guy who shlumped about, mumbled, and looked/smelled like a dead rat who needs antidepressents? Neither do they.
Closeness shows that you're comfortable. If you refuse to get near him, you seem like a scared bird. Stand within a couple of feet of him, sit closer! It shows interest and confidence. Treat him like you like him, not like you're afraid to touch him. It also lets him know he can be close to you.
Touch makes other forms of touch okay, and gives you a sense of closeness, comfortableness, and intimacy. Touching the elbow, knee, or arm when you talk or laugh eases into better touch. There's also the complimentary kiss, which is similar to greetings kisses in places like France and Hawaii. It is a small kiss on the cheek, and it shows you're interested at the end of a date. It's like saying, "Thanks, I had a great time, call me!", especially when couple with those same words. Once you've gotten a little closer, things like hugging, holding hands, and kissing continue this closeness.
So, remember, guys are simpler than we make them, and ACT is the key to getting your message across. Please let me know in the comments what you liked, and comment or email me what you'd like to see in the future (taytaytay702@gmail.com). Please subscribe and tell your friends if you like my blog! DIY/Tutorial: Cute Owl Nail Art
For this Cute Owl DIY, I used a tutorial from CutePolish from Youtube. It's surprisingly simple, especially if you have short nails like I do. You can use any two (preferably contrasting) colors, and you can do the base color of the owl different from the base color of the rest of you nails (flip-flop style). It is adorable and fun.
I started by pairing colors. I experimented with different colors that I have, by creating a little swatch pallet. My sister liked the navy blue and gold because it looked like the night sky (Get it, owls...night...). I then drew out how I could pair the colors. In the end, I chose gold on blue for all my nails.
I started with a base coat to protect my nails. I like to use L.A. Colors Superstrong Nail Builder (which strengthens and prevents chipping) or Mega Grow (which protects and helps problem nails for max growth with vitamin A and E). I've always peeled my nails, and helping them grow and putting on cute nail polishes helps me stop. These products show significant growth in a week or two. Make sure you push back your cuticles (with your nail or a cuticle pusher) for a clean look. Moisturize your nails to keep them healthy, file away snags and rough edges, and create a nice square, round, or almond shape. I also need to grow my nails out to create nail art because I have short nail beds, and my nails look short no matter what.
I used the back of a thin paint brush for the dots, and a tooth pick for the details on the owl. Using a larger dollop of nail polish on the homemade-can't-buy-nail-art-tools tools helps with neatness. Make sure you let the layers dry before you start on a new one. The youtube tutorials comes in handy for the details. I didn't add ears or feathers because I have short nails, but it is cute nonetheless.
The gold color, which is sparkly, metallic, and almost a white gold, is Salon Perfect's Gold Leaf. The white in his eye is made with NYC's French White Tip, which will definitely be used in more tutorials, including a french tip for short nails. The final photo is on my right hand, and is a little messier. You can wait for it to wash off in the shower or remove it with nail polish remover and a cotton swab, name brand q-tips.
Overall, I am very pleased with how this turned out. The colors aren't too gaudy, very classy, cute. It's just enough and not too much. Owls are very on trend, but amazing nonetheless, and polka dots are too. You could even do stripes in the place of dots, but both are patterns that don't overpower your nails. This look could be made more summer or spring with whites, bright or pastel colors, etc.
Once again, email me or comment on any posts with ideas, things you want to hear/see, questions you want answered, etc. If you want more of anything, let me know, I am open to suggestions. Email me at taytaytay702@gmail.com.

I used two coats of Sinful Colors Rainstorm, which is a navy color and super pretty. This is one of my favorite nail polish brands, and I pick it up super cheap at Walgreens. You could probably use one coat, but I went crazy because this is my first time using this color. Also, my camera on my phone is low quality, so that with the lighting may make the nails look darker/blacker than they are.

The Best Accessory: Your Phone
You use it all the time, you never leave the house without it, and it's customizable. Your phone, from the style, to the background, to the cover, is your most valued accessory. The great thing about your phone it that you can change most of it to what you like and need. There are thousands of apps, for instance. You can download games, utilities, and even themes for your phone. Your background, or wallpaper, is easily changed. You can use a cute default, a pattern, a drawing, an animation, a photo, or any image imagined really. I currently use a blackberry with a background of a bright pink flower against a teal background.
One of my new favorite aspects of my cell phone is the ability to make it even cuter with a cover of my choice. You can get a cover at a kiosk, like I did for my mother's christmas gift(she's now sporting her favorite sports team), at the phone company's store, at their website, or at any other website that sells items. I bought my phone cover on amazon for 11 cents, not including a couple of dollars for shipping and handling. Now I can feel like my phone represents my personality in a cute way. I suggest getting a phone cover, whatever one you want, because it's so fun and just another form of self expression. Ttyl:)

Seventeen Magazine: August
In the beginning:
First of all, I'm ecstatic that Ariana is on the cover, because everyone loves her, including me, and her sense of style. Also, I love to use the ads for makeup, nails, and fashion ideas. The new(ish) table of contents is great because you can see what you're looking for. Very fresh and enticing.
This month's freebies are jeans, with a grand prize of $500 denim wardrobe. I personally feel jeans are a major fashion staple and the basis of most of my outfits as a high school senior. The side notes are very helpful, like "using a dab of lipstick as cream blush" so they match. Chevron knuckle rings were3 mentioned, and I loved them, but all I could notice was her sugary manicure:super cute polish! Savannah from San Jose is "rocking [her] single status!" and so am I, so I give her props(even though we all want to be un-single;)). I am also looking at tutorials for school supplies made diy with duct tape, as the ad inspires. I love the flower crowns, 66% are into it and it is my inspiration for my senior crown. Twerking, which 83% are over, is very trashy and "ratchet". Good to know I'm not the only one who thinks so.
I love to hear from Ann, the editor of the magazine, and this month she spoke about confidence. I'm going to take her advice and step out of my comfort zone, write a new chapter, and stop stressing! I loved her tips about giving yourself a peptalk, which surprisingly helps(say it outloud, it makes it feel real!), and to distract yourself with something like baking, one of my favorite hobbies. Stressing? Make cookies, brownies, clean your room, get creative, and talk to your friends. Also, I loved when she spoke about late night confessions and finding out people aren't perfect, because I learn that, live that, and love that! She gives out wisdom and truth, and I'd love to do what she does when I grow up. Thank you Ann!!!!!
It is going to be hard to pick out who is the most amazing girl for the Pretty Amazing contest, because all of them aer amazing, and so are we! Get inspired by these girls: they work hard to achieve their dreams, and I want the same for all of you! Semi-sparkly sugar nails seem like a good idea, but be wary! Glitter is extremely hard to remove from nails! Also, listen to Charlotte and look up cute pics of animals, because not only does petting them help depression, but their cuteness brings you joy!
Fashion:
First, I'm seriously considering Keds; they are classic and adorable.
It's all about denim this month, and you can frind it from thrift stores (Deseret Industries) to retail stores (Target). These are chic takes on your basics. Overalls are adorable, but get them in a shorts style (or turn long ones into shorts), paired with a cute top, and a flattering shape(like the top ending just below your bust) so you don't look like a little kid, just as fun as one though. Denim jackets are great(even though the Mojave Desert stays hot through mid-October); make sure they nip in at the waist and have fun and creative details. Go with what you like; studs, stone washed, tribal, etc. The dresses are cuter modern version of something that looks very 90s. My fave is the cutout from Urbanog.com for $32(which I will not be buying); I love the classic sweetheart neckline and circle skirt! The denim shirts pair really well with skirts( I liked the mini dots from Gap and the faded one from Macy's, but you can find similar ones at thrift stores for only a few dollars). I also liked the jean shopping guide, but didn't find much I was into.
I loved the jeans and accessories tips to look taller, slimmer, and curvier, and will be using them. Check them out! Also keep your eye out for real girl advice. Basically, things that hit your waist make you look leggier(jackets, vests, jeans) and long necklaces/crossbody bags add length. Wear what fits you and you'll look better! Don't wear a size two to look like one. Wear your size and you'll look nice and not lumpy(sorry lumpy princess). Also, I loved the dresses in the Macy's ad, too bad they're $60.
Words are also in, and I suggest it in accessories and I also suggest making your own graphic tees(with words or pictures) using transfer paper. It is a graphic trend where your clothes literally describe/represent you! You can use dogs, food, patterns, etc.; plus, you can add studs for extra embellishment.
Beauty:
Bloggers, yay!
Beautyblitz.com gave great advice on being edgy. I loved her tip about using chalk for an obre look that isn't permanent, because I used that same technique to give myself some temporary color(tutorial to come). Simplified: be bold, but don't clutter it up, keep it simple and clean.
Beautybanter.com gave some of my favorite tips, all minimal. One of my faves? Miz foundation with moisturizer. This way you don't have to buy the special fancy kinds and have a sheer, natural coverup. Tip: use covergirl's face powder in a light dusting layer to seal and cover without clogging and masking.
Mckenzierenae.tumblr.com uses dark shades for an edgy hipster look. For dark/bright shades, use brushes to keep it from looking messy. Same reason matte eyeshadow and lipstick look better matte(which you can also do to your nails with steam).
Theglossarie.com is going to inspire some of my makeup this fall. Less is more. Match lips and nails(in classic red perhaps) and stay simple on your eyes. You stand out in a c14ssy way. It's been done for years, just look at classic pinup makeup. A vintage inspiration.
The magazine discussed curls, but my favorite tip came from Randy to the Rescue. For wavy/curly hair, first put something in it to hold the curl and prevent frizz. Twist sections for defined curls and then blow dry with a difuser. Amazing! If your hair is straighter, curl(or straighten) on the highest setting(quicker curl with less damage), curl vertically, and use hairspray. Use your fingers to mess it up in a cute way:)
The pretty first week is simple but fabulous, perfect for a few minutes before school! Plus, check out the hot looks from covergirl after that article for more fun styles. Also, because of my short hair, my favorite looks were the grape liner for extra color and the fun ombre nails(which loook like paint!). Use your experience to know what you need to keep in your locker/backpack for touch ups. Lipgloss/lipstick(depending on the day) for touch ups, though you should always have lipbalm for chapped lips. Powder for after PE if you get sweaty, plus perfume/deodorent. Always have deodorent if you do anything athletic, including PE and ROTC! BO is gross! Keep a small nail file and maybe nail polish for chipped manis and broken nails.
Celeb:
Read about Ariana, she is amazing! Plus, Lip Smacker's and 'N SYNC! My childhood!
Hunter Hayes quotes to live by:
"Happiness is a state of mind."
"If you're going to do something, love it."
"I want to feel crazy about somebody."
"Don't do anything that's not you!"
"Never be afraid to dream big! Your life can only be as good as your biggest dream."
Words to live by, Hunter, words to live by.
Health:
I'm working on the 6 week workout from a few years ago, so this one doesn't apply.
Be sex smart! Proper health education is importatnt! Yes, abstinence is the only pretty surefire way to not get an std or get pregnant. However, teens do have sex, and you don't want to be clueless when you're in a relationship. Condoms, IUDs, birth control, dental dams, etc. can help protect you. Get informed!
To sum up what they told you in the mag: don't listen to pressure, and always be safe! Plus, you NEVER owe a guy sex.
Thigh gaps: the only reason I'd want one is to prevent chaffing(which sucks!). Kylie Jenner: Everyone has a different body type! Remember that, because no one is or should be the same. If Beyonce doesn't have a thigh gap...I don't need a thigh gap: You can be amazing at any size or shape. Work hard to love yourself, one step at a time. What any other person thinks does not matter. And in the end, if you can't get away from the internet hate any other way, log off. You might find something else worthwhile. (But finish reading my blog first, lol.)
Love:
I liked the little quick moves for love. Sometimes, you can't get the confidence up to make a move if it isn't over quickly. Also, since everyone is just hanging out now-adays, it's hard to tell if it's a date, so I highly appreciated this article. Here's the list: He plans ahead, he picks you up, he smells fantastic, he shareshis food, and he's squeaky clean! This reminds me of a fave show, Girl Code, where they waited until the end of a date to learn if it was one. Life is hilarious sometimes... Furthermore, guys do just as much to get our attention as we do to get theirs, who knew?!
Life:
I loved the life article. I cannot sum it up, read it! read it! read it!!! Katelyn "knew [she] had a responsibility to stick up for all the girls who were scared or ashamed". Look up a vid of Pam Stenzel and you'll see what Katelyn was fighting against. Hate, misinformation, lack of education, and a state with one of the highest teen birth rates in the country. You cannot ignore that teens have sex, and teaching them what sex means and entails (emotionally, consequences, etc.) and how to be responsible isn't putting it in their heads, because it's already there on some level. I know all about condoms, and where my Planned Parenthood is, and what prevents pregnancy and what doesn't. But guess what: I'm a virgin!
I relate to Mean Stinks' ad. Cutting someone out of the group, especially for lame reasons, is bullying. I was cut out once, and it felt like bullying.
You can sell or donate clothes and then buy new ones, that way you're never bored, not a packrat, and get to shop. My ti[p: make a wishlist, like I do on Amazon.com. It's like window shopping and I don't have to hit 'add to cart'.
Quick random tip:Always check out reviews of companies, products, games, etc. It's not an acted out commercial, so you know the quality of what you're getting!
Things Are Looking Up:
Let's get dressed for school: My faves: watercolor dress, graphic backpack(I'm in graphic design, so sue me. I personally liked the totes at walmart for under $10, but got a durable purse at a thrift store for $4. Make sure the straps are strong to carry your stuff. By the way, by senior year your bag shrinks), oversize sweater, weiner dog. Just get creative, find quirky pieces you like and make it work in a cute classy way.
Good hair day:Loved the s-shaped curls. Vintage is an amazing look. Volume is great, just control the frizz for a clean look. Get a cute boho look(and pinterest inspiration-pinspirational) with small braids all over. Hair twists are cute, lazy, easy braids; I use them and reccomend them. Top knots are still in and no longer represent librarians. Plus, updos show off cute earrings. You can get cute cheap ones anywear, from Walmart to Forever21.
Ultimate part checklist: Music, comfy hangout area, and food. I've learned a long time ago, make food and they will come. Free food rocks! (So does FEED USA, check it out!)
So overall, this month was a great issue. Definitely lots of inspiration. It helped me come up with ideas for upcoming posts, and school will do the same at the end of August. If you want to know more about anything, want me to post anything, etc., email me at taytaytay702@gmail.com (because I'm not that popular yet, it will probably get written about).
TTYL, and remember, Be you, and dream so big it scares you, then dream bigger.

Rounded Dot Pattern Nail Art
This is a photo of a nail design I did, inspired by MissJenFABULOUS' DIY Nail Art for Beginners. She used white nail polish, dotting tools, and blue and orange accent colors. In mine, I started with a coral orange nail polish color, after applying a base coat. Then, using the back of a pin stuck in a pencil, I created the rounded dot pattern. I used a cuticle shape, and then repeated the pattern multiple times on my ring finger. This can be recreated with any mixture of contrasting colors and any mixture of the pattern. I used a growing/strengthening base coat/top coat to protect the manicure and to help me grow my nails out. I pretreated my nails with olive oil for moisture and then wiped them clean before applying my base coat. This is a fun and simple summer design, and is much classier with a white nail polish as the main color. Look it up and enjoy if you'd like to dry this at home.
Current Youtube Favorites, Sources of Inspiration, and Intro!!!
So my two favorite youtube channels right now are MissJenFABULOUS, the creator of Polish and Pearls, the blog, and DazzleDIY. MissJenFabulous does amazing and simple nail art tutorials, which I love. I will be using some of these on my own nails and then showing them to you and letting you know how it turned out. You may want to skip the first minute of her videos if you're not in the mood to here her talk, but it is usually valuable information. She also does a few diys, hair and makeup tutorials, and talks about current products/trends/giveaways. DazzleDIY has some fun diy projects, from bags to roomspiration (which was and will be very helpful for the organization of my room) and more! Both of these channels can be done to a tee or can be used as inspiration for projects you are into.
Helpful websites I use include YouTube.com, Ehow.com, seventeen.com, and myjellybean.com. The first two offer great advice and tutorials, sometimes with some searching (same with pinterest). Seventeen.com is the web representation of one of my fave mags, Seventeen Magazine (which I will be doing a review of each month, telling about cool, helpful, new things). I love to use these old magazines and take out what I like for a Seventeen Binder of mine. Myjellybean.com is a small website with cute quizzes, advice, astrology, and trends, much like Seventeen.com. Whenever I can, I will provide links to reveal my sources.
Since the intro to my blog remains I draft, I will address that here. This blog's purpose is for trends, advice on health, friendship, dating, and college, diys, and more. It is my creative portal to the world, and I encourage you to take what you want and get creative with it, because creativity makes it your own and makes it a masterpiece. I have another blog, letliferuinyoumakeup.blogspot.com, in which I sort of journal and will hopefully be posting some of my creative writing. Enjoy what I give you, keep the internet peaceful, and enjoy your lives!

I Have A Different Love Right Now
Most girls seem to want to be in a relationship, and I, like these girls, want that too. I can't see myself dating anyone at the moment though. I have school and work, and quite frankly, many of the guys I know kind of suck. I see dating as something to lead to marriage, and if I want an adult relationship, I have to wait for adulthood. But I am not without love. When I become empassioned with my art, I am filled with love. When I want to care for others, I have love. When I'm silly with my best friend and we hug, I am filled with love. As I grow as an individual, I learn to love myself. So, until the time comes when I am in love with an amazing guy, the love I do have will suffice. A different love, and a lot of it, works for me. <3
